Babuji
The head of a family of eight, Babuji is a disciplinarian. He has two sons from his first marriage - Om and Gaurav. His second wife and he have five children - Ajay, Chaaya, Kamal, Sonali and Preeti. Babuji adores his son Ajay, but when Ajay walks out on the family, Babuji realises that there is a lot more to his "no-good" son Kamal than he would have ever thought..



Maa
The second wife of Babuji, Maa loves towards all her children. But she has a soft corner for Om, the stepson that she dotes above all else. Her relationship with her favourite and his wife, however, deteriorates after Kamal's marriage.



Om
Om is the son who can never do wrong, the good soul of the house. A model son, Om is also the ideal husband who loves his wife Parvati with all his heart.



Parvati
She is the ideal wife every man would want, the perfect bhabhi to Om's siblings. Parvati loves the family and does everything in her power to maintain peace in the Agrawal household. She has a soft corner for Kamal, who she thinks is misunderstood by the family. She also dotes upon Neeraj, the son of Maa's sister.
