Karma is a true super hero who originates from Hindu mythology, created to withstand the onslaught of the demonic forces of Markesh. Markesh is all that is evil; which takes a man away from righteousness. Markesh wants to conquer the world, spread his dominion over humans and ultimately destroy the very existence of God from people's mind. Our story begins from here. Markesh's tyrannical ways start exceeding the limits. Greed and malice and all forms of sins have overtaken man and evil has reached deep within the system.
Devdutt, an elderly man, resigned from life and wandering as a
sanyaasi in search of God and enlightenment, realizes that his true purpose in life is to nurture the will of God. A child that was to be born, as his grandchild would be the God's chosen one to fight the dark forces of Markesh. Devdutt returns and takes on the responsibilities of raising Karan. The boy grows up under the tutelage of Devdutt as a man well versed in Vedas as well as the lessons of righteousness.
But as the prophecy says, the boy has to wait for the decisive moment, when God's powers would be finally granted to him and from a mere ordinary human being he'd turn into Karma, the super
hero. The powers are unimaginable and Karan takes a while, like any bemused young man would, to come into terms with his new found powers. Where he could suddenly see through walls, be able to hear a whisper from yards away, run almost as fast as the speed of sound and lift tons of weight like it were
paper. Initially it appears that it's a gift that should be made use of, Karan becomes frivolous and takes it for granted.
He teases his friends at college and flirts with Mrinal, the girl he secretly adores, but he fails to
realize the extreme powers of his arch foe Markesh. The man knows that Karma is a potential threat to him and starts designing and scheming a painful death for him. It's not until the death of his father, that Karan begins to grasp the seriousness of his situation and begins to understand the purpose of his new found abilities.
Markesh sends his men to crush Karma, but he underestimates the powers of the hero. His villains range from demonic creatures to cold-blooded killers that have wrecked havoc on the Pinaki City all the while. And though these villains put up a brave fight are ultimately beaten up by Karma making him
more and more determined to destroy any threat to the innocent people of the city.
Villains like a one eyed goon Fakira that controls the delinquents of the city and forces them to beg and steal. Another one that is send by Markesh to destroy Karma is Gunshot, the killer that never misses his aim, Tilasma, the evil magician sent by Markesh to stop Karma from getting the sword that
is capable of killing him, Girgit, the chameleon, a man who changes shapes and disguises as anybody he desires, Char sau chalis, the electricity man, who recharges himself into a human dynamo with 440 volts of live electricity and becomes almost undefeatable.
Another villain that Markesh sends to destroy Karma is Chill-Bill - a villain who can segregate himself into two different beings, twins identical in looks and in strength, very crafty and
agile. And the battle between good and evil rages on.
